NOTE Carolyn Smith (email Jan 2013) confirmed that he was the child of John and Ann by following through the rental records on the Grafton Regis CD. From 1767 to 1770 John Willcox was paying 6 shillings. From 1771 to 1780 he widow was paying this amount. From 1786 to 1807 widow Willcox was paying twelve shillings. From 1808 John Wilcox took the payment over. This firts with the deaths of his parents.
