NOTE there is no proof that she belongs in the family here but this William Wooding was known to be in Macclesfield about this date. See email Jo Mews Jan 2011 from which I quote: "There is no record for Mary Ann's birth - there was a Mary Ann born to this couple 14 Sep 1852, but she died 4 Feb 1853. There are gaps in the births of other children, where the birth of Mary Ann could fit: eg: between the birth of the 1st Mary Ann (14 Sep 1852) and Josiah (17 Mar 1856) or between Josiah & Charles Henry (23 Mar 1859 - though his mother's maiden name is not listed, though her 1st name is Mary Ann). A William Wooding aged 57y, of Macclesfield died 18 Aug 1876, at Macclesfield - (SA Death Index, 1842-1915) if this was her father, then he had certainly died before she married. The Destitute Asylum info re the admission of Mary Ann, on 3rd Dec 1903, which states that Mary Ann had 2 brothers - James & John, the informant on John Golder & Mary Ann's eldest child's birth certificate - was Jonathon Wooding, uncle (indicating Jonathon was her brother)."
