The marriage certificate states that she was a spinster of the parish. One of the witnesses was John Morris, the other Geo Yarrow. She did not sign but made her mark. The certificate (no.305 in the parish register) says by banns, and "with consent of" is deleted so she must have been of full age.
NOTE Gerry Lamford says that in 1838 when she had her first child she was at 1 John Street, near London Bridge. There was another Morris family at this address in the 1841 census (and also a Nurthen couple that I do not otherwise know of.
