NOTE the link to daughter Susannah is through the name of her father and William and Charlotte as witnesses at her wedding.
NOTE his spouse was a widow in 1851, and he was deceased at his son's marriage in Oct 1851. However, at his daughter Caroline's marriage in 1852 this is not stated, but he is listed as a labourer. It is possible that two people are involved here. I have also linked the father of the first Mary Ann (who died aged one) to the husband of Jane Whitmell and assumed that Sarah was his first wife and Jane his second. Again this could be two or three Thomases that I have linked in error, but I believe that there was only one Thomas.
NOTE the second Mary Ann is in the family from the name of her father at her marriage. He was a labourer in 1839. If I am correct in assuming that he was the father of Mary Ann then he was a butcher at some stage like his father.
